Updates are key. Need wi-fi or more. Need zoomable maps. Good GUI.

$1 is a steal for this app, IMHO

I love this app! If you are a nerd, or just like interesting facts on any country you can imagine, then this app is for you. Ive spent hours learning interesting things about other countries. I was surprised at how many countries, or islands of countries Ive never heard of. I also like to commitment to update the information regularly. What makes it real cool is that it is all accessed off line. Worh every penny.

Lots of reading, but seems thorough. Country description does link to thumbnail map, but thumbnail map cannot be zoomed out to establish the countrys location within the broader continent. I was wanting something that could be used at some level by younger children, but this is not the app for that. Main map does zoom with pincer action. Provinces, territories (Canada) and states (USA) are not displayed, only countries. Good for kids over 12 doing research, and adults of course.

This is a good App and handy App but please add the country "Kurdistan" on here as well. without Kurdistan, this App is piece of junk!

Thorough and detailed Improved maps would add further value

This app describes everything you need to know about each country. It is fascinating, and very well put together.

This is an extremely detailed app. Very interesting and endless info. The only thing is the maps arent great.

Excellent app with a ton of well-sorted information, including history, comparisons to other nations, explanations of data, etc. Easy to use with a basic but understandable interface. All the information is downloaded directly on your device (no wifi needed after you install for Ipod Touch users). Highly recommended!

Fun app, good to read! Would like to see more detailed maps, and more up to date info in the ratings section, other then that its all good!

Worth $.99 for sure. Definately some potential for some more interactive updates tho.

Check out the maps - oh my god, they are an absolute joke! How about drilling down on a country to get facts on major cities? Nothing!! Whats really sad is the fact that its just DATA that theyre providing. Wikipedia provides a million times more detail in a FREE iPhone app. What a joke. This is a complete waste of money.

I love the app because I am very social and like reading these things but I just read about Iraq and you need to fix so many spelling errors in it!!!
